| 概要 | The present study investigated the relationship between self-compassion and help-seeking behavior towards close friends. Because self-compassion involves the acceptance of personal inadequacies, researchers hypothesized that self-compassionate people would feel less reluctant to disclose their weaknesses to close friends, which would promote help-seeking behavior. Results supported this prediction. |
